Ocean’s Glowin’ Blue

Well, the ocean's glowin' blue tonight
And the only thing that's on his mind
Is her wrapped up in his arms real tight
As they stand there on the waterline

Well, they took a trip down to the coast
Walked barefoot in the sand out in the cold
They stood and watched the colors float
As the blue danced 'round the boats

She said, "Look at all the stars in the sky"
Hadn't seen this many for miles
On his shoulder she rested her smile
Said she hadn't felt this free in quite a while

The night turned into dawn's first glow
He decided it was time to go
Back into his mind she drifted slow
As he walked back to his car alone

So he headed on down the road
The ocean to his left a south bound roll
The empty seat next to him full
With a blanket for his ghost

We've reached the end of our tragic tale
A story of a man without a girl
Running far from what he feels
Hoping he might find
