Miracles happen in stomachs and on airplanes
For blind people in dead deserts
Not in cities walking around aimlessly
Hoping to catch one
In a pocket or an empty jar
Just waiting
As the days change colors
We're stuck sucking on wind
That's been recycled and tarnished as we swallow
And I just can't help but thin
That nothing is new
That every single iota of thought has been used
I want to grow. Even though I'm 24 and my body's rotting slow
I want to catch a miracle
One that no one's ever seen
Even if nobody knows
Right now every word I say is plagiarism
Just repeating what I've heard on television
And I guеss the only miracle that I need
Has already been rеceived by others with disease
No immaculate conception
No water into wine
No cure for leprosy
I'm simply stuck with one last rhyme
I want to change
I want to grow
Even though I'm 24 and my body's rotting slow
I want to catch a miracle
One that no one's ever seen
Even if nobody knows
