“Mad Kow” was recorded twice, both as demos. The song was originally recorded for Weezer’s Summer Songs of 2000 (SS2K), a series of recordings made for Weezer’s post-Pinkerton comeback tour. “Mad Kow” was later recorded as an early Album 5 Demo in 2002.
[Verse 1]
I'm watching and waiting
I'm disintegrating
[Pre-Chorus]
I know that you'd hear me
If you could come near me
[Chorus]
But no one can save me now
I'm lost, just like a cow
Madness burning inside my brain
[Verse 2]
I'm falling to pieces
I'm breaking my leases
[Pre-Chorus]
I know that you'd hear me
If you could come near me
[Chorus]
But no one can save me now
I'm lost, just like a cow
Madness burning inside my brain
My brain
[Guitar Solo]
[Pre-Chorus]
I know that you'd hear me
If you could come near me
[Chorus]
But no one can save me now
I'm lost, just like a cow
Madness burning inside my brain
My brain
