Calina wrote “LND” in 2010 after her boyfriend, at the time, and most of his family died in a car accident, back in Saudi Arabia. “LND” stands for Love Never Dies, which was the original name when it was written.
As I go through your pictures
Going through your life
I feel, I feel empty deep inside
And I know it’s crazy
To think of how and why
But it was just your time
To say goodbye
I feel weak
I feel like I just can’t go on
I’ve been holding so much pain
But now it’s been too long
(Chorus)
And yes, I know
My journey’s long
But now I’m walking all alone
Sometimes I feel like
There’s some kind of hope
Because I know
Love won’t ever, ever, ever die
I think of letting you go
But I want you to stay
Yet, It can’t happen both ways
Now all I do at night
Is close my eyes and pray
Until I don’t see you
Walking away
I feel weak
I feel like I just can’t go on
I’ve been holding so much pain
But now it’s been too long
(Chorus)
And yes, I know
My journey’s long
But now I’m walking all alone
Sometimes I feel like
There’s some kind of hope
Because I know
Love won’t ever, ever, ever die
The last time we talked
You asked where I had gone
And now it kills me
Because I wasn’t home
You said that you missed me
You wanted to see me
But now when I returned
I found out that you were gone
(Chorus)
And yes, I know
My journey’s long
But now I’m walking all alone
Sometimes I feel like
There’s some kind of hope
Because I know
Love won’t ever, ever, ever die
LND was written by Carolina Salinas.
