I tried to hustle hard and that shit gave me neurosis
I ain't procrastinate a minute
I ain’t kick my feet back in some days
But what's the point of striving when I feel miserable all the way

Shit was pivotal, my development was conditioned by ads
I was 13 dreaming on Cadillacs, cause Outkast had ’em
A sour fad, I was striving for higher tags
Burning streets, heavy breathing I’m running fast

Rats can’t keep pace, kid you buggin' I’m shoving past
This pack stupendous and shit I’m lighting, I’m burning gas
You an opp if you tryna pass.. That was my mind state then
I had a proud face when yall place was like past ten

But at eleven, in that depression I delved and
I suffered mentally, but I ain’t have to run from no twelve
And I had food on my plate, it’s survival out here
For some kids, on top of that they propagate fear

So the sights, pretty lights was icing, that shit enticing
These internet guru’s notion was pretty striking
Insecure kid, too impressionable
So I only started lifting to feel eligible

And I only made beats with my head in chords
But then I stopped making music, had my head in the Forbes
College of my dreams was ahead of the corp
Coroner coming investigating the death of my goals

I still had em, but shit was like I had to get it
More like an addiction, I’m passionate if the bag is hitting
These business kids too suburban for me
But we driven by the same so I smile at thee

This corporate shit got my anxiety spiking
This boxed-in lifestyle wild, and I am a titan
Eying us wylin' , escaping every chance we get
This repressed mind state got the herd in a pen

A burden to pen, cause I live it as well
Living is well, when I’m limited by nothing, I dwell
Eyes on the Dell, the monitor, older siblings they monitor
XY particular, oculus in the conifer

Offering false promises, fools gold sucker
