What inspired it?
A couple of years ago I got what felt like chronic writer’s block, and I started to think a lot about what kind of person I want to be. What I actually pay attention to in life. I didn’t go to see my family that much. I wasn’t really present while hanging out with my friends. I loved writing this so...
What was the process of making the song like?
We talked about difficult things while writing this song. It was our first session together the three of us. It’s interesting with songwriting. You very often end up in a room with people you’ve never met, and at the end of the day you’ve shared the most vulnerable parts of yourself.
