Harry the earwig
Was a very strange insect
He carried a sword and rode
On the back of a caterpillar
He was a pillar of strength

Henry the cockroach
Suffered from migrate
It used to drive him mad
When Harry the earwig
Would come charging

With a sword in his hand

Mary Jane the cricket
Used to knock around with Henry
But along came Harry
Dressed like a lady killer
Charging through the cellar
On the back of a caterpillar

Why'd you kill her pillar Harry?
Henry the cockroach
Saw nothing for it
But to fight to duel beneath
The setting sun
And when the duel was one
Mary Jane and Harry
Rode off on a caterpillar
Leaving Henry in the cellar
With a sword in his back
