[Spoken Word]
"I Love You, I'm Sorry" is one of my favorite songs
Maybe ever, certainly that I've ever been a part of
But there's something about this song that
Feels like it's in my veins every waking moment, um
Long story short, this is sort of a bookend to the story of "I Miss You, I'm Sorry"
Which is a song that I put out like four or five years ago
And, uh, the— I started— we started writing this song at a very interesting time
Around a very interesting, uh, meeting, I'd say
And the whole time we were writing it I was just filled with such true
Lovе for this person, like, true purе love
Like just really, really, really, I don't know how to describe it besides pure
It just felt like this clean, clear-weighted love
And I'm grateful for this song because this is where
I was able to put all that, and, um
Audrey and I just had the best time singing this together
Truly ever, and recording it also was just such a fun one
I remember that day so clearly
Again, you should have been there, you know, but, but we love this song
The whole thing is kind of acknowledging multiple sides of this relationship
Looking back on it
And, and imagining a future where it's all kind of okay
Um, alright, "I Love You, I'm Sorry"
