Hi, it's Gracie, um, I'm excited to talk to you about all these songs
I'm kind of a little bit nervous about doing it, but— that's a lie
I'm ready, here we go
Okay, "Felt Good About You"
Well, let me just preface this by saying that this entire album
Was written with people who I deeply love and trust
And feel, you know, beyond grateful that I get to have them in my life at all
Let alone collaborate with them
So, the, the context for all of these rooms was, like, you know
Full of its tiny handful of people that were deeply encouraging
Of, um, not only good s— great story-telling, but also fun, pure fun
So, uh, with all these songs, I'd say take nothing literally
I had a great freakin' time making all of it
"Felt Good About You," I want to start with because
It, it did not come first in the writing process, you know
This was sort of a summary of a, a relationship that had ended
But I liked the kind of one-two punch
"Felt good about you" into "Risk"
Which was the first song we wrote for the album
