You Me At Six
You Me At Six
You Me At Six
You Me At Six
You Me At Six
You Me At Six
You Me At Six
You Me At Six
You Me At Six
You Me At Six
You Me At Six
You Me At Six
You Me At Six
You Me At Six
[Verse 1]
"Hate to see your heart break"
That's what all my friends would say
I've got nothing left to lose
'Cause I already lost you
Everyone was someone else before
Feelings flood the room like the wine we'd pour
I was yours before you called me mine
But that now feels like another life
[Pre-Chorus]
It seems as though time has made things worse
I know I said it healed woes, but that was time ago
[Chorus]
Caldercruix called and said
She don't want the same things
No, shе don't want the same things
Oh-oh-oh
Ooh-ooh-ooh
[Verse 2]
"Hate to see your hеart break"
That's what all her friends would say
Nothing to be sorry for
If I'm not what it is that you want
Moving out of town, wanna figure yourself out
Need some time alone, don't wanna make my house your home
Oh, you say you have to lose me to find you
And I hope you do
And I hope you do
[Pre-Chorus]
It seems as though time has made things worse
And all the moving parts take place on your terms
[Chorus]
Caldercruix called and said
No, we don't want the same things
No, we don't want the same things
[Bridge]
We gotta stitch us back together
If we can, one thread at a time
You know I don't regret it
When I said I had forever in mind
We gotta stitch us back together
If we can, one thread at a time
You know I don't regret it
When I said I had forever in mind
We gotta stitch us back together, back together
Now or never, yeah
We gotta stitch us back together, back together
Now or never, yeah
Stitch us back together, back together
Now or never, yeah
Back together, back together
[Chorus]
'Cause we don't want the same things
No, we don't want the same thingss
[Outro]
We gotta stitch us back together, back together
Now or never, yeah
Back together, back together
Back together, back together
Back together, yeah

“Glasgow” is coming from a place of pain where you lose somebody that you loved, but it’s about accepting that making sure there’s no bad blood.
We always like to try and have a slow song on the album. And this one sort of presented itself in a way that was quite melancholic but without it being overly sad. I think if you put on a record and every song feels like the track before, you start tuning out. Something that we really spoke about wa...
It’s a pay-off when you get to that part of the song where it lifts off. You feel a massive release of endorphins. That’s what this song was about to me, the journey. And I think Josh’s lyrics articulate that really well.
