Here in my garage band, my neighbors don't understand
So they just call the police, cause I'm disturbing the peace

I don't see what is so wrong, practicing our new songs
I payed off my citations, what happened to free nation?
I'm sorry I'm not more like you, just sit and watch tv, and waste my life on magazines

Sorry I can't play quietly
So just turn up your TV

I'll turn off my lights and pretend that I am sleeping
Knock harder on the door
When I don't answer then you'll have to leave a warning

Here in my garage band, we're playing to be loud and sometimes just to annoy you
We know you hate what we do
So we just play it louder, and hit the drums much harder
