I learned how to play “Basket Case” on guitar, and then I was like, “Okay, I can write a song.” So then I tried to write “Dog Song,” just knowing that, “OK, I can just use pretty much the same four chords for this.” So it was very rudimentary.

It was intentional to have this song come full circle. This song was the very first song Abby ever wrote, in 2011. It was on our first demo. It was on our first EP.
