Dear Boss / From Hell is about 19th century serial killer “Jack the Ripper”. It is one of the only songs of Seizure’s debut album that does not feature any fantasy themes. The name of the song is taken from the letters Jack himself wrote.

Homicidal maniac who stalks the streets at night
Looking for more victims he can hack up with his knife
Preying on young woman who are innocent and weak
Committing acts of homicide while everybody sleeps
Late at night, he leaves his mark
A stranger lurking in the dark
Walking down the foggy streets
In the black
The Ripper, you will meet
His name is Jack the Ripper
There’s nothing you can do
His call is from the Devil
He’s coming after you
Hiding in the alleyways, blood dripping from his knife
Planning his attack for when the time is right
Can’t find himself a woman, so he captures them instеad
Mutilates their bodies until hе’s got a head
Late at night, he leaves his mark
A stranger lurking in the dark
Walking down the foggy streets
In the black
The Ripper, you will meet
His name is Jack the Ripper
There’s nothing you can do
His call is from the Devil
He’s coming after you
One look into his house and the bodies pile up
His name is Jack the Ripper, cause’ he doesn’t give a fuck
Once his life is over, his soul will be sent down
But while he’s still alive, the Ripper won’t be found
Late at night, he leaves his mark
A stranger lurking in the dark
Walking down the foggy streets
In the black
The Ripper, you will meet
His name is Jack the Ripper
There’s nothing you can do
His call is from the Devil
He’s coming after you
