The sun is shining and the birds are singing, it's a picture perfect day in may
Flowers blooming and church bells ringing that brides about to change her last name
It wasn't long ago we were headed down that road
I guess God only knows what I'da got myself into

It could've been me that put a ring on her finger
Could've been me with some crazy in-laws
Could've been me getting run the ringer
Trying to chew what I bit off
It could've been me dealing with all that
I feel bad for that SOB
But thank God it was him, 'cause it could've been me

In my free time I'll be wetting lines whilе he's doing them chores at homе
I'll be chasing tail and raising hell but for him those days are gone
