MC Rimmer * Track #12 On Bottom Line

Colors Lyrics

[Verse 1]
The hate and wickedness can be spread thru racism, bottom line
It comes in all forms, races, and all vines
All throughout time it's been used
Sometimes for entertainment to make people amused
Or for the advantage of a political system
But in truth they're the ones lacking the knowledge and wisdom
Take a look at the old times
When blacks where lynched or accused for wrongful crimes
The wrong ones are antagonized
But the lies are right in front of your eyes
But when it arises, it uses a disguise
The racism conquer from all games and names
And we still have colors here to blame
Shame that we haven't gone forward
Education is profited and cornered
How for Al doing the money and crime
When Italian Americans were accused during the times
Japanese Americans caused mass hysteria
Then they were locked up in confined areas
Colors

[Verse 2]
You know we're stuck in the old days past
When we're racist, prejudiced, half-assed
Whether your future is blurred or clear
Racism will continue and has continued thru-out the years
Fears have provoked death, war, and tears
Disgrace has been applied to all colors of race
See, gun shops are in every corner of a black community
Killing others to break and shake the unity
So just understand the immunity
See, blacks are on the news for killing another male
And many get the blame, so they'll end up in jail
It's up to you to believe the extreme
But is seems it seems like blaming colors is another scheme
Because there's a stereotype of their violence and crime
And this will happen if we don't improve our times
Colors

[Verse 3]
Black Panthers were a black man's way to continue
What have we come into?
We're still fighting over the color and race
Stereotyping that they belong in a certain town or place
Emphasis on selflessness
Prejudice is a true man's nemesis
And day by day it seems like racism is growing a bit taller
And when we talk about it, we talk a little smaller
Only because we can't face the truth
Racism kills the old to the youth
And impacted every nation
From full force to separation, segregation
