Class Day

There comes a day when the kids all split
And all they care about is the shifting bit
They've got the coolest rods and they're on their way
All the kids are cutting out on old class day

They've put down their books and forgot about school
Speeding and racing is their golden rule
Deep in their hearts their wishing they could stay
About a week or two instead of just one day

It's the only day off us kids ever get
And it's the only school day we don't regret
A day off or two will help us unwind
Come Monday morning we're gonna hit the grind
