[Verse 1]
I sat down with a gun to my head
You told me not to move
'Cause if I did, I'd be dead
I cried out, but nobody ever came
Oh, it's so sad
When it ends, what a shame
[Chorus]
Maybe (Maybe)
Maybe it wasn't right
Oh, and maybe (Maybe)
He caught me on my blind side
[Post-Chorus]
But who's to blame?
Who's to blame?
Who's to blame?
Who's to blame?
[Verse 2]
I sat down with my face in both hands
I thought of all the fools
Had I become one in the end?
Oh, I cried out, I cried out
But nobody ever came
It's so, so sad, so sad
When it ends, what a shame
[Chorus]
But maybe (Maybe)
Maybe it wasn't right
Oh, and maybe (Maybe)
He caught me on my blind side
[Post-Chorus]
But who's to blame?
Who's to blame?
Who's to blame?
Who's to blame?
[Chorus]
Maybe (Maybe)
Maybe it wasn't right
Oh, and maybe (Maybe)
He caught me on my blind side
Oh, oh, and maybe (Maybe)
I tried too hard (Tried too hard)
Oh, oh, and maybe (Maybe)
I didn't try hard enough

I know a mama never has favorites… but ever since I wrote this song just over a year ago, it’s been my favorite song on the album to listen to. I hope you guys like it 😭 It’s so dark and bizarre but also so fun and enlightening. Kinda like life, I guess.
[It’s] something I love doing when writing songs. [Blindside] is so earnest and dark but at the same time so fun and uplifting to listen to. It mixes such a serious topic with such a fun feeling.
Sometimes you meet people that don’t treat you with the same respect that make you feel it’s all or not...
[The music video needed to represent how I] had felt inferior to someone I had spent a lot of time working with in the past. I never felt like I was treated with the same respect I had offered, and that I was constantly being given ultimatums. We came up with two characters whose relationship to eac...
