This is the outro to the album because it summarizes what it’s all about. Kid Vision feels trapped inside his house and therefore, inside of his mind during quarantine. This is slowly changing him. “Blinds” is also a metaphor for wanting to get famous, but not having what it takes to make it.
[Chorus]
And I always find myself looking through the blinds
I see the light it's so much brighter there on the other side
And I wish that I could go outside
But I can't escape this feeling that I know I feel inside
[Verse 1]
My biggest enemy is me
I'm trapped in my mind and I don't have the keys
Stuck in my room nobody is here to see that I want to get out
That I want to be free
And I want to be free
But nobody's even there to care
Wonder what's out there beyond the trees
Beyond all of the fresh air
[Chorus]
And I always find myself looking through the blinds
I see the light it's so much brighter there on the other side
And I wish that I could go outside
But I can't escape this feeling that I know I feel inside
[Verse 2]
But one day I'll get out
And I'll see what it's about
I wonder how it smells
Or how it sound all around
Feel the breeze here on my cheeks
Feel the sand between my feet
But I know behind those blinds
It's violence waiting there for me
