Fleetingly you say my name
And that's enough
Seemingly you play the game
I know it’s rough
And all that stuff

Listen to my gentle heart beating to your drum
I'd ask that you'd consider me
Although I’m rather dull

Should you ever think of me?
I hope that it's not just in vain

Perhaps someone just said your name

Fleetingly you glance my way

Beating me up just the same
