What inspired it?
It’s a song about push and pull, and a bit of trying to overcome someone playing coy because honestly it fucks you up a little bit. You want to say that you’re here for the long run, but eventually you’ll need a little give from their end too.

Not gonna lie this was definitely one of those songs that I really had to wrestle with. It was one of the first beats after the bandaids ep that I sent to James and was like “I’m so stoked to write to this” and then never sent him a single demo until months later.
