Oh, that awkward angel
That blonde, impossible boy
Evermore in flight away from me
And yet, such joy

Oh, that awkward angel
The pale perfection of his cheek
When I try to kiss him, he just laughs at me
Yet I grow weak

All around they whisper, "what a fool is he
To carry on with such a boy who can't be caught"
But if I recall the teaching the preacher said to me
