I sleep under the comforter
I'm hot
I sleep over he comforter
I'm freezing

The alarm goes off
I get up
I take a shower
Get in my car
Drive to the office
Park in the garage
I walk inside

I say hi to Marjorie

I say hi to Steven
I say hi to all

I drink four cups of coffee
Lunch is out of the microwave
Sit at my desk
I call the electric company
I have to dispute my home bill
It's on my boss's time

I get no results
I work for an hour
Then it's time to go

I don't carе about any of them at all
I go back into the garage
I get into my car
I drive back home
It isn't very far
I walk inside my house
I say hi to the kids and kiss my spouse
It's time to make dinner
It's something out of a box

Then I'm really tired
So I go to bed
I'm underneath the comforter
I'm hot
I go on top of the comforter
And I'm freezing
I go back under the comforter
And I'm hot
Get back on top of the comforter
And I'm freezing

That's when I take my fingertips
And I touch my wrist
Am I alive?
