About 細野晴臣 (Haruomi Hosono)

One of the most influential musicians in Japanese pop music history. In addition to his solo discography which spans several decades and genres including electronic ambient, folk, exotica, techno, blues, rockabilly and more, he also founded, produced and composed songs for the legendary synth-pop group Yellow Magic Orchestra, was a founding member of influential rock group Happy End, and has played as a session bassist with some of the most-revered Japanese musicians of his time, like Tatsuro Yamashita, Shigeru Suzuki, Yumi Arai, Taeko Ohnuki and more.
