YungStove is a teenage rapper originally from Connellsville Pennsylvania. He first started writing raps in the 4th Grade during class time and skipping recess to work on his craft. His first song he ever released he released in 5th Grade titled “Just a Dream” under the name Skytzofrenik. That was deleted shortly after being released. In the 9th grade, Stev made a SoundCloud account in study hall as a joke, titled “Lil Stev” but when his cousin misheard him and thought he said “Lil Stove” he took that and changed Lil Stev to “YungStove'.

He would work on his first EP called “Ask and Receive” (later scrapped) until April 17th when he released his first single “Questioning”. Later deleted in September 2020 along with a lot of YungStove’s older songs. Questioning is about Stev’s then view on the music industry and how the sounds are so repetitive. He now takes back those views he said: “Back then I wouldn’t even listen to the music, I wouldn’t get my evidence, I just listened to what lyrical rappers said just agree with it”

Sometime in September 2019 YungStove dropped his first ever EP “No More”.

In the tracks, YungStove talks about abuse, not being good enough, and fake people. Later in 2020 YungStove removed it from SoundCloud.

On November 7th 2019 YungStove signed to Desert Fire Records run by fellow rapper Next Apollo. He didn’t release anything through that label until January 25th of 2020 with his single “Afraid Of You” featuring Valious. This is a fan favorite, YungStove has said multiple times that its overrated and not at all his best work. In February 2020, Stev released his first album under Desert Fire Records, titled “Run, Scream, and Panic!” (later deleted)

In the intro, a spoken word track from JohnniMusic calls YungStove and asks Stev where he’s been. Prior to Afraid of You, YungStove ditched his 1 song a month schedule to go on a break from music.

On April 17th (one year since his initial SoundCloud release) YungStove dropped his second album titled “Ask and Recieve” (later deleted) The cover being a remake of the “Run, Scream, and Panic!” Cover. YungStove re-used his unreleased album name from when he began his SoundCloud for this album. On August 2nd, Stev dropped his surprise EP “Somewhere In Between”

When Desert Fire Records shut down in November of 2020, YungStove took a lot of his old songs/albums down Including Run Scream and Panic! and Ask and Receive. And on March 6th, 2021, YungStove dropped his Debut Album “The Adventures of YungStove”

A 20 track album that was in the works from July 2020 until Very Early March 2021. Including 6 Singles he released before hand. Only releasing 2 singles and one SoundCloud exclusive song after “The Adventures of YungStove” He has been quiet about music, not releasing in 2021 as much as he used to in 2020.

On August 18th 2021 YungStove dropped his second EP “i wanna be famous” a collection of some of his best work.

YungStove said later that night on an Instagram Live that he is going to take a brief hiatus from music for mental health reasons.
