About The Local Train

The Local Train is an Indian rock band (Hindi) based in New Delhi consisting of Paras Thakur (Lead/Acoustic Guitar), Ramit Mehra (Bass Guitar) and Sahil Sarin (Drums/Percussion).

The genres dabble in Indian Rock, Pop Rock, and India Rock. Some of their well-known releases are “Choo Lo” and “Aaoge Tum Kabhi.” Till date, they have released two studio albums, Aalas Ka Pedh and Vaaqif.

Following this, they were chosen for one of Rolling Stone’s 11 best Indian music videos for 2019 for one of their track, Gustaakh.

They were reported to be working on their third album until on 6th April, their frontman, Raman Negi, said in a reply that he had quit the band 4 months ago and followed by two weeks, the band also announced that Raman Negi has parted the band. However, as per the band’s Instagram Post, the band has still not disbanded and is continuing without a frontman.
