With musical infusions ranging from Hip-Hop to R&B to Alternative, rapper and producer Shiwan credits a wide array of artistic influences that includes the likes of Sade, Kanye, Drake, Kendrick, and James Blake.

His official rap career started in 2013 with a barrage of single releases followed by his first mixtape, “Waves”, which debuted on Soundcloud, Shiwan relentlessly continued showcasing his ability to craft music, including collaborations with other artists and full length releases such as Hidden Virtue, New Grammar, Flex, Quikstrike, The List (w/Benjamin Broadway), & When Brothers Talk (w/My Brother). These releases put him in view and earned him accolades from Rapzilla.com as part of their 2018 Freshman Class as well as with YouTubers MoreJStu with over 6 million subscribers.

Currently working on new music, as well as producing for other artists, Shiwan continually strives to demonstrate hope, faith, and love through his artistry and his brand.
