Mel Bryant leads with her bass, her big mouth, and her radical heart. The Mercy Makers keep her sane and channel her passions into a project that is equal parts visceral and sensitive, with a fresh youthful take on classic rock, pop punk & folk foundations, their inspirations ranging from the Allman Brothers to Green Day to Laura Marling. Their breakout single Never Thought was featured on Spotify Editorial playlists, and won them a Finalist award in the International Songwriting Competition. In the true spirit of an independent band, they record & produce their music out of a converted barn studio in the backyard of the house they share in East Nashville, Tennessee. Their latest single Pyre is out now on all platforms, and they’re currently working on their long awaited sophomore album, due for release in 2024. Much touring to come as well.
