Epic Rap Battle Parodies is a YouTube series created by Mr. Jay and Provost back in 2012, with WoodenHornets being added as the co-creator of the show in 2013. The series is a parody to the hit YouTube series, Epic Rap Battles of History by Nice Peter and EpicLLOYD.

Like the main series, each installment of the show, referred to as an ‘episode’, features two or more fictional, historical, or famous characters having a rap battle that is filled with pop culture references and jokes.

During Epic Rap Battle Parodies' lifespan, the show has spawned five seasons.

The first four seasons, also known as “The Classics”, ran from December 23rd, 2012 to November 1st, 2015, ending with “Jigsaw vs GLaDOS”. After that battle was released, the series went on a very long hiatus, with the only things produced being “Steve vs Joe 2” and the cancelled “Justin vs Nathan vs Zander” in 2018.

At long last, the series returned on August 6th, 2022, kicking off its fifth season.

The series is now ran by WoodenHornets as the creator of the show, with Provost and Mr. Jay being the series' executive producers.
