Cameron Smith is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Fort Worth, Texas. After fronting hardcore punk band Decades as a teenager, he emerged in 2011 at the helm of War Party, a scrappy five-piece with roots in post-punk and garage rock. He began performing solo under the rubric Sur Duda in 2013 but that project transitioned into a full band upon the release of their debut album Paper Knife in 2017. He has been releasing solo material under his own name since 2019’s A Good Way to Say Goodbye.
