20 Fingers is an electronic production team that features production by Carlos Rosario aka “Charlie Babie”, Manfred “Manny” Mohr, J. J. Flores and Onofrio Lollino. The group is best known for its pop, dance, and rap songs that feature comedic and explicit lyrics. Their rise in popularity would begin through their collaboration with the female artist, Gillette.
The group’s first single was released on August 31, 1994, called “Short Dick Man” featuring Gillette. It would become quite controversial. Despite the controversy, the single would reach #14 in the U.S. in 1994 and would debut #1 in France for three weeks. The song would become a night club success.
Their eponymous debut studio album, 20 Fingers, would be released on October 24, 1995. It was self-produced by 20 Fingers and featured songs from Gillette, Max-A-Million, Bongo Boys and many more artists. The album would contain songs from Gillette’s 1994 debut studio album On the Attack.
On April 18, 1995, 20 Fingers would re-release Gillette’s debut studio album On the Attack but was renamed On the Attack and More.
The group is known for their remixes of songs from various artists. They are also known for releasing their club mixes and radio mixes of the hit songs from Gillette and many others. 20 Fingers would produce for Max-A-Million’s debut studio album called Take Your Time.
