A pedophile is an individual whose sexual object is a child, and in that way they're different from you and I, perhaps, because they have an illegal sexual oddity.
A typical pedophile that likes young boys might have committed the crime as many as a couple hundred times prior to being arrested.
Or an individual who likes young girls who might be more like 70, 80-100 times prior to being arrested.
