It was the first time I met Dylan Brady. I don’t know how but that song came together so quickly. We had a session that was about three or four hours long and just finished most of it all in that session. That was the first time we met and we just started working together. What inspired it?
The inspiration behind the song was shitty relationships, past relationships, and seeing other people in codependent relationships. I just feel like it’s a common theme. Everyone has gone through it. Everyone understands it.
What was the process of making the song like?
I had an idea in mind of what I wanted to do. I wanted to do something more ballady. The drive behind all of my songs are super beat driven. I like everything to be heavy with the beat.
