I wrote this poem to tell the truth
I never felt like i belonged anywhere my body’s been
Sorry
I didn’t mean to scare you
It’s just that right now i am lost and confused in my own feelings, oh

Will you ever look at me in the crowd
I guess i’ll change my skin
And maybe you’ll figure it out
Cause inside there is a stream that no one knows about
But now is not the time already to
Let the flood come out

Now im sitting on your bed listening to your voice
You say that i don’t look so comfortable
But don’t worry it’s just the way i sit
Cause it gets cold at night
And it looks just like the world is going through a long winter
So could we share the blanket
Just a little while so i can feel a bit warmer
