What inspired this song?
I wrote this record a year or so ago, maybe two years. I don’t know, I was 22 years old. I’m only 24 now, not a crazy difference, but I just moved to New York and I was living life a bit fast. What was the songwriting process like?
This record is produced by Frequency. He’s an amazing producer. I co-wrote the record with a songwriter named Latif Williams. The whole process was honestly just talking about real experiences in life, so it was very easy to just piece it together.
