[Spoken Word]
"Yet" is a love story. Not a love story like you might know it. In "Yet" I sing to a lover who I haven't met yet. I see my lover everywhere I go, with everything I do in life. The only thing is we've never really met, or not yet at least. Writing a song for a fictional lover was such an interesting and inspiring thing to do. Almost like writing a poem for your future partner. I think the lyrics took about 20 minutes to write? Sometimes that really happens, you get inspired and you write something insanely fast. The melody and chords took some shaping up, but the essence of the story was clear right away. I really loved writing this song, and I really hope that the people who are looking for love, and listening to "Yet" will focus on, like, spreading positive energy, and sending it out into the universe. And I know for sure they will find the love of their lives one day.
