Some eggs for your mother, lemonade from some other
Sipping our time even though she asked us to hurry

We’re walking that line between time and a fantasy, as we sleep

Show me the best houses, the rich and their spouses
You listen so sweet as I write you some sidewalk poetry
A blessing at dinner, though we are the sinners;
Those feelings so far now, but I can feel them so vividly. Do you see?
