Worried for Nothing

When I look outside I see the world passing before me
And my heart starts to race when I see the person I could be
And so I ask myself, why do I live in fear?
And I wonder why, I'm still standing here

We spend too much of our time
Worried what’ve might been
It's all in our minds
And so I, I've tried to face
The times in my life when I felt out of place
The years go by but I stay the same

For so long I wouldn’t let them do things that I've done wrong
But as time passes on those days are seemingly gone now
And so I ask myself, why do I live in fear?
And I wonder why, I'm still standing here
