I said it before, can't repeat it again
Century in reverse, can't play and pretend
A nation in trouble, but what can I do
I don't want any wars but there is something to defend
Can't believe the audacity, people have now
To just take over a home, drop bombs around
If that was my town, I don't know what I'd do
But here I am on the news, hearing people shout
All these rumours around that I don't wanna believe
When I come inside I see the truth on the screens
No matter what I do, can't ignore those screams
Soldiers down the road, just feels like a dream
Going into places, thinking it's for taking
People crossing borders now, hope they're just mistaken
The world is aching, just stop the raiding
How many more gotta die before they stop hating
Just look at the past and see what went along
Power hungry people, acting like they strong
Taking over places, where they don't belong
If what happened was bad, then today's still wrong
Ukraine's in the need for some help today
But along with help comes it's own damn pains
Blood stains, All I see is world war when I try to look to the other side through the window panes
It's actually upsetting that I need to write this shit
It's 2022 but still y'all don't get it
And I know I don't swear and y'all know it too
But at this point you gotta know, I'm done with all of this
Challenging nations, like they're in a game
Allies and axis, don't this again
Everybody knows there is nothing to gain
So why do we fight if it's gonna bring pain?
I often ask myself, is war the only way out?
Can we put up a sign that just says "stay out!"
The world would be better if we could just be humans
The world would be perfect but I doubt
Suppose everybody had everything equal
Same money, same skin, same types of people
Even in a perfect fantasy like that, I'm sure even then we'd find a way to turn to evil
