Like a photo I haven’t seen in awhile
As a boy living young and wild
Standing next to that old ‘68 Ford
He only let me drive it once before
Always polishing the door for good luck
Like my daddy’s old truck

Like a song that gets lost in my mind
Everyone should remember a line
And it gets harder now to sing it again
When we listen to the radio wind
Like a vinyl gathering some dust
That I played growing up

I still remember about the past more clear
Than I do about this year because

Taking home but it’s not there anymore
Where as a kid I had the whole backyard
To build a tent and count those shooting stars
When the night got dark I’d look up
Now I’m all grown up
