I dreamt last night that a Mustang went right through the trees
And ended up three feet from where we watch TV

And of a time when a piece of some flight
Yeah it fell from the sky on the lawn between you and I

Everyone panicked, the neighbourhood vanished
But you and I, we took our chance

Oh we turned the ignition, yeah, rolled down

And we danced

I dreamt last night we were standing in line
And some guy who looked like L. Cohen buying wine said, "I'm dying"

And everyone there opened up what they were holding
And raised a drink to the man and his great sense of timing

And as the walls collapsed and bottles cracked
You and I took it as our last chance

And right before I woke, I grabbed my phone
And streamed "Everybody Knows" and took your hand
And we danced
