Watching Another Star Die

When you gave up on yourself
I had to give up on you
When you wouldn't let me in
There was nothing i could do
With my arms behind my back
These weakened hands are tied
So i'll take a step aside
Watching another star die
I've had friends
That have been through all of this before
Above them
The sun isn't shining anymore
You thought no one understood
Just what you were going through
But you couldn't lift your head
To see who was there for you
Lie and tell me that everything is alright
You're forcing your way through this despite
The thoughts that still keep you awake at night
And so i guess this is goodbye

You're burning out and coming down
