Breath in
All that is happening
In the Summer’s warmth
Feeling the fear is a flooding
And the Fall has come
Thinking I must be mistaken
But the futures cold
Seeing life is a losing
And Spring is born

But I met
A hooded death
With a six foot sickle in his hand
He said
“Life ain’t worth living if you don’t understand”
He said

Hearing
The sirens sounding
