[Verse 1: Kyle Falconer]
Underneath the lights, on the stage in my hometown
You've never seen the likes, so many people singing aloud
Sing along to my song, speak in your ear, chill you to the bone
Too much is never enough, no matter how much we'll always want more
[Pre-Chorus]
All the people so friendly, now all they do is apologise
And all the people so friendly
We're gonna dance, dance, dance into the night
[Verse 2]
Drink like the Irish one second you're as high as a kite
The next you're on the floor
You know the Scots, there's always a fight
Has there ever been reason to bite?
Keep your lips on me try as hard as you might
Pour them from the height and drown me in the cloud of delight
[Pre-Chorus]
And all the people so friendly, now all they do is apologise
And all the people so friendly
We're gonna dance, dance, dance before the fight
[Chorus]
And now we've kissed, let's make the most of this
I don't care who's wrong, I just don't wanna go home alone
[Verse 3]
Sacrifice delight, a part of life, never ignore
Give me all you've got
I can take it all and more
Seen it in a film before, stingy drinks and thugs on the door
I've seen this before, it's your turn to chill me to the core
[Pre-Chorus]
Ah, you used to be so friendly
Now all you do is apologise
Before you go on your frenzy
Lets dance, dance, dance into the night
[Chorus: Kyle Falconer & The View]
And now we've kissed let's make the most of this
Before the night turns sour let's use this final hour (sweetheart)
And now we've kissed oh let's make the most of this
I don't care whos wrong I just don't want to go home alone
[Bridge]
You're outta line, you're outta line, you're outta line, go home
You're outta line, you're outta line, you're outta line, go home
You're outta line, you're outta line, you're outta line, go home
You're outta line, you're outta line, you're outta line, go home
[Guitar Solo: Kieren Webster/Pete Reilley]
[Chorus: Kyle Falconer & The View]
And now we've kissed, let's make the most of this
And now we've kissed, let's make the most of this
And now we've kissed, let's make the most of this!
And now we've kissed, let's make the most of this
Before the night turns sour, let's use this final hour (Sweetheart)
And now we've kissed, oh, let's make the most of this
I don't care whos wrong, I just don't want to go home alone
Kiss and make up at the end of the night
Kiss and make up at the end of the night
Kiss and make up at the end of the night
Kiss and make up at the end of the night

We actually began writing this one on the campsite at T In The Park 2006, the first year that we played. Throughout the album recording session Pete was like a caged animal with his solos. On this one he just let rip and got maybe the best solo he’s ever played.
