There's a black hole sitting at the center of the galaxy
It might pull in towards you like you're pulling towards me
I guess we'll see
When we both collide, I'll be drenched in kerosene
Fill up my cup and leave, nothing left to me
Move along, there's nothing here to see
If the universe is indifferent, would it tell me?
It always seemed to have some signs that it was trying to tell me
I did not hear a voice, I made a choice
This morning when the sun was warming up
How strange to just decide...
To love this life...
To work your hands into the bones...
Sun sets and you go back home
Oh black hole I see you, I might have a plan to beat you
And this self-help guru died by suicide
For all this good advice he couldn't seem to find
That he signalled through the noise
Owh he tried his best to check his attitude
He stuck to beer and he stuck to platitudes
But in the end, he was destroyed
If the universe is indifferent, would it tell me?
It always seemed to have some signs that it was trying to tell me
I did not hear a voice, I made a choice
This morning when the sun was warming up
How strange to just decide...
To love this life...
To work your hands into the bones...
Sun sets and you go back home
Oh sun I see you, I might have a plan to beat you
Oh, the black hole is a mirror...
Is a mirror, if that's not clear...
Then the black hole is an echo...
Is an echo, when we let go...
And the black hole is our end
And the black hole is my friend
There's a black hole eating up the cosmic kingdom come
There's a golf ball on its way in one
Damn right, I know the score...
But when we both collide...
It'd be pure poetry...
Like a missing piece of a Mozart symphomy
May the circle/balance be restored
If the universe is indifferent, would it tell me?
It always seemed to have some signs that it was trying to tell me
I did not hear a voice, I made a choice
This morning when the sun was warming up
How strange to just decide
To love this life
To work your hands into the bones
Sun sets and you go back home
Oh black hole I see you, I might have a plan to beat you
