“TV (Freestyle)” was originally released as a way for b-Rabbit to showcase his rapping skills to people prior to any of his releases. He later announced it as the first official track off of The b-Rabbit EP.
The song serves as the first promotional single off the EP and was produced by iRatz.
[Verse 1:]
It was Monday, sitting bored in my room
Was listening to beats on my brother's Zune
Til I gave up and said "Wonder what's on the tube?"
First channel, some guy is trying to sell me a Snuggie
MTV got a song about some dance called the dougie
Watch SpongeBob on Nick
Click to Starz to catch a flick
My TiVo's about three pages thick
Most of it's Blue's Clues
The rest are game shows where everyone seems to lose
Except this one dude who always seems to be "winning"
Two and a Half Men
Woodstock: Now and Then
Running outta shows, surf to CNN
[Verse 2:]
TBS got Family Guy
Commercial for the master of thighs
But that's nothing but lies
Don't buy stuff off the TV
They don't work, you'll see
Once sec, gotta click to NBC
Can't miss Letterman
Tonight he got Federline
Tomorrow I'll come up with a better rhyme
But I don't got time tonight
Almost time for Saturday Night Live
Before that, wrestling, watch the champ take a dive
Kick off my shoes, watch the evening news
And after the Late Show with K-Fed
Time for this MC to head to bed
Peace
