I fell out of bed
A terrible thought bounced a path straight across the room
Throwed out the coffee to drink the soap
I run because I have to know

Down by the riverside
In the shade of the piney tree
I throw down my head and cry

Turpentine
Turpentine is fine

Train on the water a river shakes
Flood out the valley a big ole snake
Hear it breathe Feel it shake
The sound it makes is a wild wind

Trailed by a whiff of a turpentine
