The nature of trust is a void infrastructure. It creaks and moans as if the very foundation is post apocalyptic. We still seize it with vague and ignorant dreams. Of love, of peace. Of contentment. Though in most as in the least of us; it will elude. We will see glimpses of it in a smile. In a subtle nod. In a firm handshake. But we will never truly trust. Never fully engrossed into the sky. Never committed in the deepest corner of our heart. We all have reservations, we all have doubts and wandering emotion. I’m not trying to say trust is fiction, but our perception of it is. We expect total commitment without being able to give it in return. We expect all decisions to revolve around us like we are the center of the galaxy and like you are the closest star that can survive our plasma. So we share that plasma with good intention. Good hopes bleed sorrow and contraction. We never can give what we intend.
But thats all right, I prefer a half assed reality over a full blown fantasy. Do you?
