“Tremble” is about wishing the people you hate would be beamed somewhere else. This one has been written for a while, but the last minute or so really came together in the studio and is one of my favorite riffs of ours
Stripped bare and torched
Blood red eyes
Cast a shadow
Into the core
Where fate takes its form
Emerging from ashes, stained with loss
Rapture on the horizon
Please take them all
As terror rains down
Tremble at the sound
Tremble at the sound
They hover above
My every hope, my faintest dreams
A swarm of blades
To sever the cord
Strung out and starved
Led to thе water
Drowned in the wеll
By God’s sons and daughters
I’d trade forever for one more day
I’d trade forever for one more day
In the sun where I belong
I’d trade forever for one more day
Stripped bare and torched
Grip the steel
Made to exterminate
In realms unknown
Cries unheard
The final gasps
Of a dying breed
Light the way
To the end
