It ain’t easy to go against the current
To read between the lines like a poet
With the flow, the crowd the mass of what’s all normalities
Living day by day in our monotonous realities, in our monotonous realities

But finding the strength to set your own cause
Being the one who cares, who dares to show remorse
That’s what I was always looking for - it ain’t always looking like that though

I’ve been walking my way all night, all day
Constantly falling, slowing down my pace
Hearing you can do it, that it ain’t possible
Hearing you won’t do it, that’s so irrational

I wouldn’t believe, even though I had doubts
To all of my doings, actions and routes
Caring my failures, feeling their bites
Holding my head up, proud of putting up the fight

So look at me now taking on my own journey
Feeling strong, feeling confident, nothing will turn me
It’s important to know your roots too
To put yourself in someone else’s shoes
Boo, Change the view, the landscape for a moment
Trusting people, not everyone is your opponent
Apart from that I know what’s good for me now
