To Impress the Intellect || a poem

When it comes to using big words,
I am not one to acquaint themselves with such ability.
Often due to the fact that I myself, do not know many.
If I could, then I most likely would
but in this case, I will not.
Big words.
As far as I've been told,
sounding sophisticated may alter one's perspective of another intellectual's capability.
As far as I can tell,
the given statement might as well be true.
However,
I find the practice of precocious vocabulary an existential stalling device, causing writers and readers to digress rather progress whilst comprehending concepts proposed.
I wouldn't mind obtaining such skill.
Yet, I wouldn't mind obtaining none at all.
Well structured sentences composed of intricate terminology can seldom be perceived clearly.
Hence, the issue I've been meaning to come across.
You would have known what I've been trying to say moments ago;
Only if I had simply written down:

I don't use big words because I don't know many.
I also wouldn't because it'd waste my time.
